The Walt Disney Company founded the town of Celebration in Florida, back in the mid 1990s.

The vibe the Walt Disney Company were after was an historical American small town.

Celebration has been named as one of America’s top 10 prettiest towns.

🧑‍🌾Celebration has a weekly Farmers Market every Sunday.

🚗We parked at Front Street, as far as we could see there were no parking restrictions in that area, but you do need to take care.

In addition to the Farmers Market, celebrations has a host of other events throughout the year.

Disney still have some office buildings in Celebration.

Now The Celebration Company own and run celebration.

💚Life in Celebration is based on five cornerstones:

1. Sense of Community

2. Sense of Place (providing unique places)

3. Focus on Technology

4. Focus on Education

5. Focus on Health

We start the day with a coffee from Starbucks, which we take to a rocking chair beside the lake. BLISS!!

🐊It is not uncommon to see Gators and Turtles in and around the lake. We weren’t lucky (or unlucky!) enough to see either.

🚶We then have a wander around Lake Rianhard before heading to the Celebration Downtown Diner for brunch. We would highly recommend a meal here.

🚽There was a sign saying that restrooms were available in a store called Kilwin’s, but this was closed when we went past.

There are however toilets in Starbucks and in the Downtown Diner (for starters)
