Things are looking up, all Disney Parks around the world are now open, after what seems forever, particularly for some of the parks.

The 50th anniversary celebration plans are coming along with lots more having been announced this week.
What we already knew?
The celebration will start on the 1st of October 2021 and continue for 18 months.
The 50th anniversary celebrations will be called “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse have new EARidescent outfits for the 50th anniversary, as do all of their friends!
Disney Updates up to the 25th February 2021 – Ears and Ideas
Ratatouille the Ride will debut at EPCOT at the start of the celebrations.

Also on 1st October, La Creperie de Paris will open in France, EPCOT.
What was announced this week?
There will be “Two New Nighttime Spectaculars”! These will debut at the start of the celebrations on 1st October 2021.
The first Nighttime Spectacular is called “Disney Enchantment” and will debut at Magic Kingdom. It will include music, lighting, fireworks and projections that not only cover Cinderella’s Castle, but also down Main Street USA.
The second Nighttime Spectacular will be the highly anticipated EPCOT show “Harmonious”. Disney Imagineers have spent months building and testing the pieces that will come together at night to create “Harmonious” on the World Showcase Lagoon. Not sure how it looks in the day though!! The show will use fountains, lighting, pyrotechnics and “media in new ways”.
At Animal Kingdom, a new show “Disney KiteTails” will come alive at the Discovery River Amphitheatre. In some ways it sounds like a water version of Tapestry of Dreams that used to be on around the paths of Epcot. It will be amazing if it is! I have popped a link to a video of Tapestry of Dreams at the end of this article in case you want to have a look and see what it was like.
Mickey, Minnie and friends will be seen in their new EARidescent outfits through Magic Kingdom several times a day in their new “Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade.
Mickey, Minnie and their 6 best friends (Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto and Chip n Dale) will also be featured in golden sculptures at Magic Kingdom. There will be 50 sculptures in total across all four theme parks.

Disney Cruise Line
We are getting closer to the first Disney Magic UK Staycation Cruises, it is less than a month away now.
There has been some controversy this week though as some of the passengers on the early cruises went through the check in process and there didn’t seem to be enough slots for the Disney Dreams evening show. We are all watching closely and hoping this is just a glitch.
Before the paying public get to experience the Magic at Sea UK cruise season, Disney Cruise Line will be undertaking test cruises, with Cast members and their families acting as guests. So this should iron out any processes and procedures that need changing.
Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris is once again open and I for one cannot wait to book a trip there.
I have been watching some of the videos about the opening days on YouTube and notice they suffered rather a lot of rain one day!! It looked more like 4pm on an Orlando summers day!!!
