🦁A BIT OF HISTORY ABOUT LONGLEAT SAFARI AND ADVENTURE PARK

✅Longleat first opened in 1966

✅Longleat was the world’s first drive-through safari outside of Africa

✅Longleat is found in the county of Wiltshire in the UK and is set on 9000 acres

✅Longleat House is a masterpiece of Elizabethan Architecture.

🦁WHAT TO EXPECT FOR YOUR DAY AT LONGLEAT

✅Prior to visiting, it requested that you purchase tickets for Longleat Safari Park, at this time you can also pre-book a guided tour of the house at an additional cost.

✅Parking is abundant and free at Longleat.

✅There are a number of ways of seeing the animals at Longleat, all of which are included in your entry cost and we will cover them in more detail later

🦁THE DRIVE-THROUGH SAFARI AT LONGLEAT SAFARI PARK

✅Download the Longleat App on your phone and you can enjoy a full commentary during your drive around the drive-through Safari.

✅The many animals you will see as you drive through the safari are deer, wolves, monkeys, tigers, lions, cheetahs, white rhinos, elephants, giraffes and zebra.

✅At the beginning of the safari, you can park up at the African Village, use the toilets, the viewing areas and the is a shop and café.

✅If like us you enjoy keeping your windscreen wipers on your car, you can choose to avoid the monkey enclosure.

🦁THE JUNGLE CRUISE BOAT RIDE

✅From here as well as enjoying a boat ride on the lake, you can see a number of different animals including sea lions, which can get very noisy as the boat approaches as they are aware that passengers can purchase food for them from the ship’s captain!

🦁THE LONGLEAT RAILWAY TRAIN RIDE

✅Another lovely journey, with views of a few more animals and views of the lake.

🦁OTHER LONGLEAT ATTRACTIONS

✅There is the Jungle Kingdom, where for example you can find Red Panda and Koala Creek

✅The is a ride called Rockin Rhino, a hedge maze and a fantastic play area called Adventure Castle.  These are all also included in your entry fee.

🦁WHAT IS CLOSE TO LONGLEAT

✅You drive past the Longleat Centre Parks as you enter the Longleat estate and also the beautiful city of Bath is not far away.

✅The fact that so much is included in your entry tickets really helps when budgeting for a day at Longleat. You have the option as always to take a packed lunch if you want to reduce any further costs.
